Thank you kiddos!! You are awesome!
Yes! We have taken a short TIME AWAY, just the two of us.
Here’s a little photo journal of our first half.
Overlooking Chattanooga, TN.
Inside Ruby Falls Cave-but don’t let that fool you, it is seriously inside the earth-over 1000 feet below the surface! This is the waterfall at the end of the tour.
Gorgeous! God made it and we saw it! So cool!
Water is flowing all over inside this deep cave. This little pool was about shoulder height and magnesium rich. So they let us know, if we were to drink out of it, we would probably have to go potty pretty quickly. (you know, magnesium)
You can walk around the back side of the waterfall.
Waterfall view from underneath. Sprinkles of water all over my lens.
The nickname this formation is called is
Over Niagara Falls.
Stalactite and stalagmite formed a column.
When the cave was originally popularized, the man who discovered it crawled through this 2 feet high space under the earth. He was missing for over 17 hours and then reappeared at his original entering point. He then took his wife down and she crawled along with him. He wanted to show her the underground falls. He named it ‘Ruby’, after her.
